The SR2D Rear Hub contains our new Dual Sprung Star Ratchet Hub Engagement System, which has been developed to bring the following performance benefits to the rider:

• Ultra-lightweight hub shell for increased stiffness and power transfer
• Dual sprung hub mechanism for next level engagement
• 36 points of engagement for instant pick up and power transfer
• Heat treated carbon steel ratchet rings designed for optimum wear life
• Faster pick up that accelerates quicker ran a conventional hub
• Easily serviceable with no odd size bearings

Built for maximum durability, this hub features a super-lightweight CNC machined hub shell paired with fast, efficient Japanese stainless steel bearings and an incorporated notch in the newly developed end caps with tool-free freehub removal that simplifies disassembly and makes maintenance even easier.
